Job Description:

• Seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon
• Good surgical skills; Dentistry experience is advantageous
• Funding available for certificates

We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a growing, successful first opinion small animal veterinary practice in Southend, Essex.

• Excellent full-time permanent opportunity with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota, no Sundays or OOH
• Practice is purpose-built, well-equipped, modern, and spacious, featuring ultrasound, endoscope, in-house lab, x-ray, and dental equipment
• Ideal candidate will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with good surgical skills; Dentistry experience is a plus
• CPD allowance and funding for certificates available
• Paid RCVS, BVA memberships, and VDS fees
• Join a close-knit, friendly, and experienced team
• Located near the Essex coast with great transport links, free on-site parking, proximity to Southend Airport, and direct trains to London in under an hour

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• Experienced Veterinary Surgeon
• Good surgical skills
• Dentistry experience is advantageous
