Job Description:

• Varied caseload including some exotics

We have an excellent opportunity for a Vet Surgeon to join a growing team at a first opinion small animal veterinary practice in Southampton, Hampshire.

• Full-time permanent opportunity with some Saturday mornings on a rota; no Sundays, no OOH (part-time hours may also be considered).
• Practice is well equipped with modern technology and orthopaedic equipment.
• Caseload is interesting and varied, including some exotics.
• Ideally, you will have good experience in practice, enjoy working as part of a team, and be confident in occasional sole charge.
• Work alongside an AVP in small animal surgery with an interest in exotics.
• Join a friendly, welcoming, and supportive team.
• CPD allowance and funding towards certificates available.
• Located conveniently to enjoy Southampton's coast, with access to the New Forest National Park and the south coast.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• Good experience in practice
• Confident to work some occasional sole charge
