Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity – Brand-New Practice in Clacton-on-Sea

Are you a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon looking for an exciting new challenge? This brand new practice is opening the doors to a state-of-the-art practice in March 2025 and they are looking for talented vets to join them. Be part of a friendly, dynamic team delivering exceptional care to patients.

The new clinic has been designed with the highest clinical standards in mind, offering a pleasant and supportive working environment. Equipped with cutting-edge facilities, the surgery allows the provision of top-tier veterinary care to pets and their owners.

Location: Situated in the beautiful Clacton-on-Sea, a traditional seaside town on the Essex coast, you’ll enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with sandy beaches, coastal walks, and a vibrant community. Clacton offers excellent transport links, providing easy access to London and other major cities, making it a fantastic location for both work and leisure.

They are looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to work around 40 hours per week, with a 1:3 Saturday rota. There is no OOH required, giving you the perfect work-life balance. Part-time applicants are also welcome to apply. You’ll be working alongside an owner with General Practitioner Certificates in Small Animal Surgery (GPCert SAS) and Endoscopy & Endosurgery (GPCert Endo), who brings a wealth of expertise to help pets live healthier, happier lives.

Ideally you’ll be an experienced veterinary surgeon; however, they can be open to recent graduates, confident in routine procedures. You may have special interests which are encouraged, including ultrasound or good medical skills. You will be passionate about animal welfare and high-quality patient care and have strong communication and teamwork skills.
