Job Description:

• Role requires confidence with routine surgery and consults
• Able to work sole charge
• Surgical and medical caseload with a high number of insured clients

We are recruiting for an additional Veterinary Surgeon to join the growing team at a small animal practice in the Northampton area.

• Full-time opportunity working 40 hours a week, including 1 in 3 Saturdays, no Sundays, no OOH
• Practice is purpose-built with state-of-the-art equipment: digital X-ray, ultrasound, dental machine, theatre, in-house laboratory, blood pressure monitor, etc.
• Varied surgical and medical caseload with a high number of insured clients
• Role requires confidence with routine surgery, consults, and working sole charge
• CPD allowance and support for Certificates available
• Paid RCVS, BVA memberships, and VDS fees
• Located in Northampton with good amenities, bus and train access, and free parking

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• Confident with routine surgery and consults
• Able to work sole charge
