Job summary

MVR - Jobs for Vet Surgeons & Vet Nurses is recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon for a growing small animal practice in the Kettering area, Northamptonshire. The role offers a 40-hour week with 1 in 3 Saturdays, no Sundays or out-of-hours work, and a busy, fast-paced caseload.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years PQE, with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and RCVS registration, and will join a supportive team of 2 Vets and 4 RVNs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
• Registered with the RCVS.
• Comfortable handling consultations, diagnostics and routine surgery.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ post qualification experience.

Responsibilities

• Handles consultations with clients and patients.
• Performs diagnostics and treatment planning.
• Carries out routine surgeries and post-operative care.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a growing and successful small animal practice in the Kettering Area, Northamptonshire

• full time permanent role working 40 hours a week including 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH
• practice is established, successful and growing and is undergoing huge investment currently with an upcoming relaunch, rebrand and plans to extend.
• this is a fast paced and busy surgery with a loyal and varied caseload, including consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and routine surgery.
• the role would suit an experienced and confident veterinary surgeon, comfortable handling consultations, diagnostics and routine surgery with a minimum of 2-3 years’ post qualification experience
• join a supportive and passionate team of 2 Vets, 4 RVNs with opportunity to mentor junior team members where appropriate.

Person Requirements
