We are now recruiting for an Equine Vet to join the team at a dedicated equine practice based near the beautiful City of York in North Yorkshire.

• excellent full time opportunity with a rota that is flexible and can be tailored to individuals but will include some weekend on-call duties
• practice is well equipped with multiple DRs, scanners, scopes, ECSWT and dental systems enabling a comprehensive ambulatory service.
• varied ambulatory caseload includes everything from children’s ponies and competition horses to elite racehorses.
• ideally you will be a proactive and capable equine vet
• a keen interest and experience in diagnostic orthopaedics is preferable although not essential as training can be provided.
• role provides a great opportunity to develop your skills with exposure to a thoroughbred racehorse caseload
• join a supportive, experienced and forward-thinking 5 Vet team all of whom hold certificate qualifications
• super location to enjoy the city life of York and an abundance of extracurricular activities as the coast, North York Moors and the Dales are within a short drive and London is a 2 hours away by train
  
  

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
