Overview

Veterinary Surgeon (Part-Time, Fixed Term – Taunton, Somerset). Contract until May 2026.

• Flexible Part-Time Role – 20 hours per week with only 1 in 4 weekends
• Modern, Well-Equipped Practice – digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, fully equipped theatre, and Vetscan diagnostic suite (including Imagyst)
• Supportive & Close-Knit Team – work alongside 2 vets, 3 RVNs (including one studying for a certificate), and 2 support staff in a genuinely collaborative environment

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive small animal practice in Taunton on a part-time, fixed-term basis.

This welcoming clinic is home to a close-knit team of two Vets, three RVNs and two dedicated support staff, all united by their passion for delivering outstanding animal care. The practice encourages professional growth—one of their RVNs is currently completing a certificate in medical nursing, making this an ideal environment for learning and development.

With excellent facilities, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, a fully equipped theatre, and a full Vetscan diagnostic suite (including Imagyst), the practice offers everything needed to deliver exceptional standards of care—from routine check-ups to emergency treatment.

The Role
