Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon – Swadlincote

An exciting opportunity awaits a Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic independent small animal practice in Swadlincote. With over 30 years of experience serving the local community and a bright, modern surgery established in 2014, this practice has built an incredible reputation for delivering outstanding care — and they’re continuing to grow. If you're looking for a relaxed and friendly environment where you can truly enjoy coming to work, this could be the perfect next step.

The practice is busy, with a varied medical and surgical caseload that will keep your skills sharp and your career moving forward. You’ll work alongside two experienced vets within a supportive, down-to-earth team. With a loyal client base who trust and value the service provided, the focus remains firmly on providing excellent clinical care in a nurturing environment. They are looking for an ambitious small animal vet with at least three years’ experience, confident in practice, and comfortable handling sole charge when needed.

The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered, have strong clinical and diagnostic skills, and a passion for animal welfare and ethical practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, along with the ability to stay calm and capable in a fast-paced environment. This is a practice that genuinely values its team members and believes in creating a great balance between professional satisfaction and personal wellbeing.

The Rota:
