Veterinary Surgeon – Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands
About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon in Sutton Coldfield, offering excellent clinical support, flexible working and the opportunity to develop and mentor alongside a highly experienced team.

The role offers a salary of up to £70,000 FTE, dependent on experience, with full-time hours preferred but flexible shift patterns available to support a healthy work-life balance.

This is a rare opportunity to join a stable practice with very low colleague turnover, strong clinical expertise and a genuine commitment to developing its team.

About the Practice

The practice is an established, spacious standalone small animal veterinary practice in Sutton Coldfield, which has recently undergone an extension to create an even more comfortable working environment.

Facilities include:

  • 4 consultation rooms

  • Dedicated X-ray room

  • Isolation facilities

  • Separate cat and dog wards

  • Spacious operating theatre

  • Dedicated room for dirty procedures

The experienced team includes 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 RVNs, Student Veterinary Nurses, 3 Client Care Advisors, a Practice Manager and an Insurance Administrator.

The practice also benefits from visiting specialists in orthopaedics and cardiac imaging, providing opportunities for the team to develop their knowledge and skills while managing more advanced cases.

With a longstanding team and low staff turnover, there is a strong emphasis on collaboration, mentoring and helping colleagues progress professionally.
