Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care’s Chipping Norton Vet Hospital is seeking a veterinary surgeon with a surgical certificate or strong surgical experience to join our team.

The role offers a varied caseload of consultations, operations and diagnostics with a typical full-time schedule of 40 hours over four days (08:30–19:00) plus 1:3 Saturday shifts (08:30–14:00) and a 1:10 on‑call rota. We provide a supportive environment and opportunities to develop clinical interests.

Qualifications

• Surgical certificate or extensive surgical experience.
• Experience in clinical practice with routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with clients and colleagues.
• Proactive learning attitude and openness to feedback and development.
• Professionalism, reliability and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-standard patient and client care across a varied caseload.
• Continue to develop clinical skills and share knowledge with colleagues within the team.
