Veterinary Surgeon – Suffolk
An exciting opportunity awaits for a Veterinary Surgeon at a thriving independent small animal practice in Suffolk, located in the affluent coastal town of Aldeburgh. The practice’s clientele expects a proactive approach towards their pets’ veterinary care, and the practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including a CT scanner, laparoscopic surgery kit, in-house laboratory, dental radiography, and ultrasound, ensuring top-notch care for every patient!
Your veterinary colleagues will all have at least 10 years’ experience, thus providing a supportive and knowledgeable environment, ideal for professional growth. This dedicated team of 4 vets, RVNs, and receptionists are committed to building sincere and genuine vet-client-patient relationships with an emphasis on continuity of care. A genuine desire to learn how to deliver excellent communication skills and continuity of care are essential to securing this role. With a low staff turnover and a firm commitment to work-life balance, everyone in the team leaves the building by 6 pm, allowing for a healthy blend of personal and professional life. The practice owners have taken the entire team abroad for spring breaks for off-site training combined with sun, fun, and relaxation.
The practice will consider candidates of all experience levels, including new graduates, and you will be mentored and supported through your formative years if necessary. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the business side of veterinary practice, should that be of interest. With three months of temporary accommodation available, this role is perfect for someone looking to settle into a picturesque coastal town while making a meaningful impact in a close-knit team.
The practice uses a regular peripatetic surgeon for virtually all orthopaedic procedures except spinal surgeries. We expect this opportunity in this beautiful location to be popular, so if this position sounds like what you’re looking for, don't miss out, apply today!
