We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and loyal team, based at St Ives, Cornwall.

Medivet St Ives is in a fantastic location, close to the sea and town centre, with local bars and restaurants nearby for you to truly enjoy the area. As well as a stunning coast and sea front with spectacular views, you can see this amazing sight from our practice window!

Our practice features a spacious reception area, large car park, theatre, prep room, and staff room for your breaks.

Our rolling rota allows for a great work/life balance, essential for enjoying the best of living in idyllic Cornwall. We are ideally looking for a part-time Vet, 3 days per week, but full-time will also be considered.

In This Role You Will
  • Deliver outstanding clinical care during consultations and procedures.
  • Provide excellent client care, including clear updates on patient status.
  • Maintain high standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
  • Prepare accurate estimates for clients, ensuring timely payment and minimizing debt.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager to optimize practice performance.
  • Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their skills and effectiveness.
  • Inspire your team by sharing evolving standards and process improvements.
  • Ensure proper clinical handovers and coordinate patient care transfers, including out-of-hours and enhanced care.
  • Support clinical best practices within and across practices and the wider Medivet community.
