Taverham Veterinary Hospital, near Norwich, seeks a Veterinary Surgeon for a fixed-term maternity cover of 9 months. The hospital provides a large, purpose-built facility with modern imaging and surgical capabilities, supported by a team of experienced vets and nurses.

The role offers a collaborative environment, opportunities for professional development, and a salary up to £65,000 DOE pro-rata. Working hours typically around 8:30–18:30 with a 4-day pattern and a mix of consulting and surgery.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and RCVS registration or eligibility.
• Experience in clinical practice with routine medical and surgical cases.
• Excellent communication with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of patient and client care across a varied caseload.
• Develop clinical skills and share knowledge with the team.
• Support ongoing development of colleagues and participate in a busy schedule.
• Work as part of a team at the main hospital with occasional support at branch sites.
