Job summary

Highcliff Vets in Hadleigh & Brantham (two-site practice) is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role covers a varied small animal caseload with opportunities to work up cases and pursue clinical interests.

No out-of-hours duties are required, and the team emphasizes learning, collaboration and wellbeing. The practice holds ISFM accreditations and is part of a larger network; a veterinary degree and RCVS registration are essential, with a supportive team culture

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality medical and surgical care to a varied caseload.
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and continuity of care.
• Work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons, nurses and client care colleagues.
• Contribute to clinical discussions, case reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support and share knowledge with colleagues across the practice.
