Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal Practice – Heywood, Manchester

We’re hiring for a modern, independent small animal practice based in Heywood, Manchester. If you're looking to join a friendly and progressive team that truly values integrity, compassion, and clear communication — this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We’re expanding our clinical team and are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is either recently qualified or has at least two years of experience. You’ll be joining a supportive environment where learning, collaboration, and high-quality patient care come first.

What We're Looking For

  • A vet who is recently qualified or has at least 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Excellent spoken and written English – communication is key in our practice.
  • An outstanding, friendly character who builds trust with clients and colleagues alike.
  • A fast learner who is keen to develop clinical and surgical skills in a hands-on and encouraging setting.
  • A team player who respects the practice hierarchy, contributes positively to the team, and can work independently when needed.
  • Availability to work 3 to 5 days per week, including some weekend shifts (we may extend weekend hours in future).
  • RCVS registration and eligibility to work in the UK.
