About Us

We operate a purpose-built hospital at Whorral Bank, complemented by 8 branch surgeries throughout Northumberland. Our facilities include 4 theatres, dental and radiography suites, endoscopy, ultrasound, ECG, hydrotherapy suites, and separate wards for cats, dogs, exotics, and small mammals. We provide our own out-of-hours service and have a team with multiple certificate holders across various specialties.

The Role

We are seeking a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join our small animal department, working up to 28 hours per week. We can tailor the schedule to your needs, whether full or part days, or a flexible weekly pattern. You may be based at our main hospital or a branch. The role is primarily first opinion, with opportunities for skill development or certificate holders to thrive. Contribution to the Saturday daytime rota is required.
