Work/Life Balance
We know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it brilliantly easy for you to strike the right balance. We have 32 hours available however would also be happy to hear from those looking for slightly less hours or a more flexible rota. We are currently open 08:00am to 12:30pm on Saturday mornings, and therefore you would currently be required to work 1 in 4 of these. There is no out of hours required for the role allowing you to achieve a good work-life balance.
In general, our Veterinary Surgeons week would include 2 days of surgery and a '2nd ops' shift day - however we're happy to hear from those looking for something different or those with particular passions and interests. We can tailor the role to you! We're also looking forward to hearing from anyone who is looking for support in further development (certificates, training etc.) Admin time is provided each day, to allow you to catch up on notes, reporting of lab results, phoning clients, prescriptions etc. or for researching and planning cases. Appointments are 15 minutes as standard but are booked for 30 minutes for second opinions, skin and ear cases and more difficult cases.
