Job summary

Crossroads Vets - High Wycombe is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy three-site practice. The role involves shared time between High Wycombe and a branch, with occasional cross-site cover. You will work within a supportive team, handling a diverse caseload while aiming for excellent patient and client care.

The role offers a 40-hour week over four days, with 8–8:30am start times and 6–7pm finishes. OOHs are not required, and part-time applications are welcome.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and registration with the RCVS is required.
• Experience in clinical practice with routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Proactive learner with openness to feedback and development.
• Professional and reliable with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload including cats, dogs, rabbits and small furries.
• Perform routine medical and surgical procedures with support for orthopaedics.
• Collaborate with the wider team to deliver high-quality patient and client care.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to clinical culture and continuous improvement.
