Overview

Exciting Opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon at Lowesmoor House Vets, Worcester! Were on the lookout for a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Lowesmoor House Vets in Worcester. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to shape your responsibilities according to your interests. Whether you prefer focusing solely on consultations or want to include surgeries, were exceptionally flexible to accommodate your preferences.

Our wonderful practice

We are a small, family-friendly practice based in Worcester, with plans to expand our fabulous team and continue refurbishing our facilities. We aim to offer an excellent service to our clients and their pets. To support this, were equipped with in-house lab machines, X-ray (including dental), ultrasound, and an IDEXX blood machine, to name just a few. As a team, we pride ourselves on our fear-free, individually tailored approach to patients and their humans, strong teamwork, mutual support, and a healthy work-life balance that adapts to the needs of each team member. Our fantastic clinical team includes two vets (including our Clinical Director) and two RVNs. Our Clinical Director holds a certificate in chronic pain management. Were extremely fortunate to have a fantastic, loyal client base that has entrusted us with the care of their pets for many years.

Rota patterns that work for you

We understand that a healthy work-life balance is crucial for the well-being and productivity of our team members. Thats why we proudly offer flexible working hours to accommodate various lifestyles and commitments. Ideally, were looking for someone to work between 16 - 20 hours per week, covering Tuesdays and Fridays, along with 1:3 Saturday mornings (08:30 - 12:30).

Worcester gives all the benefits of historic city living with easy access to countryside activities. The cathedral and the commandery are highlights to visit. We have the beautiful Malvern hills a short drive away and access to canals and the river Severn for water based activities. There are a number of good schools, both primary and secondary within easy reach of the practice and the 2 stations provide good links out of Worcester. There are a number of lovely villages in easy commuting distance for those who prefer a quieter lifestyle.
