Job description

We are seeking a passionate and committed Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team.

1066 Vets are a well-established practice serving the Hastings and Bexhill area with high client numbers and a varied caseload. 1066 Vets is equipped with a full range of diagnostic and laboratory equipment. We have a strong team of experienced vets and nurses and support staff. We work with some local charities and are part of the RSPCA Neutering Scheme for cats and bull-breeds.


Flexible Scheduling for a Work-Life Balance


Your duties will include consultations, surgeries, client callbacks, prescriptions, in-patient care, workups, and occasional house visits.


You will ideally work 4 weekdays, with shifts between 8:30 am - 7:00 pm and a share in the Saturday rota (8:00 am - 12 pm) which is usually 1:4. There are no out-of-hours or bank holiday duties. We can offer some flexibility in shifts or days and are open to discussion.
