You will manage a varied first opinion small animal caseload and have opportunities to develop in both consulting and surgical skills, including dentistry.
Mintlaw Vets is a bustling single-site practice in Aberdeenshire with a collaborative, forward-thinking team. We hold RCVS Accreditation, VetGDP, VN Training Practice status, and ISFM Cat-Friendly Clinic Accreditation; we implement Fear Free techniques to enhance wellbeing for clients and patients. Our team includes a Clinical Director with soft tissue surgery experience, a rabbit care-focused RVN, and other dedicated professionals. We offer staff facilities such as custom-built staff dog kennels for applicants wishing to bring their own dog to work.
As a member of our 5-person vet team, you will be supported by 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, student nurses, and VCAs, plus a diligent reception and management team. We foster a culture of clinical excellence and collaboration.
Mintlaw is in Aberdeenshire, with easy access to the coast and about 30 miles from Aberdeen. The practice lies on the outskirts of town near Aden and Pitfour Country Parks, offering rural charm with city accessibility.
