Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join the Thanet Vets team. You will work with a dedicated group of six other vets, providing both consulting and operating duties, and contributing to a high standard of patient and client care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

You’ll refine clinical skills, share knowledge with colleagues, and take on leadership within the clinical team while enjoying a stable schedule and strong community ties.

Qualifications

• A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development.
• Professionalism, reliability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

The role will involve consulting and operating duties shared with 6 other vets. We are fortunate enough to have a fantastic and knowledgeable team.

We are surrounded by sandy beaches, with close links to ferries and the train for various destinations across Europe. We are also within reasonable distance to London for city visits. We are active within our community and as such have built a loyal client base.

Practice Highlights

• Dental radiography
• Ultrasound
• Fully equipped laboratory for in-house analysis
• Video endoscopy/bronchoscopy

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care while leading and supporting those around you.

Working Pattern

• Opening hours of 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
• 1:4 Saturday mornings
• No OOH
