Job summary

Pool House Veterinary Hospital in Lichfield seeks a veterinary surgeon to join a four-site team across Lichfield, Armitage, Burntwood and Mere Green. The role offers a balanced caseload between surgery and medicine with a generous salary up to £60,000 DOE and relocation support up to £5,000 pro rata.

You’ll work with a team of 20 vets, access a wide range of facilities, and benefit from CPD support and extensive career development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Veterinary degree and RCVS registration or eligibility.
  • Experience in clinical practice with routine medical and surgical cases.
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills.

This role will be based between all four of our sites: The Lichfield hospital, Armitage, Burntwood and Mere Green supporting branches.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

About us

We're a team of 20 vets with a wide range of experience and skills including certificate holders in Anaesthesia, ECC, Imaging and Surgery, with more of our team working towards additional certificates. The practice boasts a number of facilities including, X-ray, dental X-ray, laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, ultrasound and comprehensive lab. We are long standing practice with a dedicated and supportive team. We pride ourselves on high standards or patient care and customer service.

You Might Be a Great Fit If...
