Independent Vetcare Limited in Lampeter, West Wales is seeking a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive team. You will deliver high-quality patient and client care across a varied caseload while developing your clinical interests and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you'll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You'll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You'll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

Typical Shifts & Responsibilities

Our typical weekday shifts are, 8:30am-5:30pm, with surgical cases up to a 1-hour lunch break and rotational late cover.

Saturday Shifts

Saturday shifts are 8:30am-1:30pm on a rotational basis. We provide flexible options for out-of-hours care through our external provider arrangements, with supportive inpatient care available within the practice where required. Full-time, part-time and job-share applications are welcomed. We would also consider candidates interested in mixed veterinary work, as Steffan Vets is supported by our fantastic farm veterinary team, providing an excellent opportunity to develop experience across both companion animal and farm practice.
