Inspiring Vet Care at Steffan Vets in Lampeter is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established practice serving West Wales. The role provides support to develop your interests and skills within a collaborative team.

We welcome full-time, part-time and job-share applicants, with a friendly culture and strong commitment to professional growth. Salary up to £75,000 DOE, plus welcome and relocation allowances up to £5,000 each.

Ideally, we are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team, although we would welcome applications from vets at all stages of their career.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

• Our typical weekday shifts are 8:30am-5:30pm, with up to a 1-hour lunch break and rotational late cover.
• Saturday shifts are 8:30am-1:30pm on a rotational basis.
• We provide flexible options for out-of-hours care through our external provider arrangements, with supportive inpatient care available within the practice where required.
• Full-time, part-time and job-share applications are welcomed.
• We would also consider candidates interested in mixed veterinary work, as Steffan Vets is supported by our fantastic farm veterinary team, providing an excellent opportunity to develop experience across both companion animal and farm practice.

• A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
