Salary: up to £85,000 DOE plus a welcome bonus up to £5,000 and relocation allowance up to £5,000.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and diverse team at Walton Lodge. Your typical week would include mornings and afternoons made up of consultations. After consultations, the rest of your day will be spent liaising with the inpatients and the owners regarding further work ups required or you will be on theatre duties and will complete the ops booked in for that day.

This role will be based at our Hoddesdon Branch. The role is mainly sole charge with close links and time at our main hospital in Ware.

This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours over 4 days per week. There will be 1 Saturday morning involved every other week. There is no out of hours with this role.

Walton Lodge is made up of a team of 8 experienced Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses and 11 Receptionists. Helen Lee is the senior Veterinary Surgeon at Walton Lodge and has worked in Hertfordshire since 1985 as a small animal Veterinary Surgeon. Our team aims to provide the highest quality of care for our client’s pets. CPD is highly encouraged, for example, one of our vets is doing a laparoscopic course with the RVC shortly and one of our RVNs is doing a certificate in nursing.
