The Beeches is a long‑established, RCVS accredited practice, situated in the well‑connected market town of Melksham, a short drive from the Cotswolds, Longleat and Stonehenge. We are a single‑site, modern and well‑equipped practice, offering high‑quality small animal services with no OOH. You would be joining an easy‑going but hard‑working team of experienced vets and registered veterinary nurses, student nurses and receptionists, under the leadership of an experienced and supportive Practice Director.
We are looking for a confident, friendly veterinary surgeon with a strong team ethic. The vacancy is for a full‑time position but part‑time candidates will be considered. The role involves both consultations and surgical cases. Clinical freedom and following your own cases is encouraged but support is readily offered when needed. There are no OOH requirements with the role, but some Saturday mornings and sole charge duties may be required. We are very keen to support further learning and development with a generous CPD allowance and in‑practice training. Special interests and certificates are encouraged.
