Become a part of our 35-year legacy.

We are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our established first-opinion, small animal practice. You will be based at our branch in Totton with the option of also working at our Lyndhurst branch.

With opportunities for growth and development, a supportive work environment, and a chance to strike the right work-life balance, this is a perfect opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a fulfilling and rewarding career.

Work-life balance that works for you

We are open to full and/or part-time applicants. The full-time position is typically 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days with 1 in 5 Saturdays (with time off in lieu). We offer flexible working patterns that flex with you and your lifestyle.

Our fully equipped practices

Our sites are fully equipped with digital X-rays, ultrasounds, in-house lab machines, and dental radiography.

Totton: Silver Cat-Friendly Clinic, minutes' drive from the New Forest and a short drive to the market town of Romsey.

Lyndhurst: Situated in the New Forest in a thatched cottage with rural surrounding walks.

Both sites are located close to Southampton with easy travel to the coast.

Find a phenomenal team

We have a supportive team of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 of whom hold certificates in Dentistry and Ultrasound, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and a Student Veterinary Nurse. Our dedicated practice manager and supportive colleagues will ensure that you have all the resources and support you need to excel in your career. We are happy to support a certificate.

Our friendly and experienced team prides itself on providing the best care for pets and clients alike. The role offers a good balance between consulting, operating, and preventative healthcare. We offer 20-minute appointments for non-routines to ensure our patients receive high-quality care, and our team has sufficient time to provide thorough workups and excellent client communication.
