Whitehouse Veterinary Clinic is excited to welcome a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to our fantastic team. We’re keen to find someone with a strong background in medicine or surgery who brings excellent communication and interpersonal skills to their work.
Whitehouse Veterinary Clinic operates across two locations—Whitehouse and Drumahoe—where we provide dedicated first-opinion care for small animals. Recently refurbished, our clinics are bright, modern, and purpose-built to meet industry-leading standards. With facilities including ultrasound, dental equipment with x-ray, general anesthesia, IDEXX blood machines, and an orthopedic suite with a TTA kit, we’re well-equipped to handle a wide range of cases.
Our typical patients include dogs, cats, rabbits, and some exotics like birds and reptiles. We also have the unique opportunity to care for animals at a local small zoo, which houses species like raccoons, deer, wallabies, and other rare breeds.
Our team handles a variety of cases, from routine surgeries and dentals to more complex procedures, including perineal hernias, anal gland removals, and orthopedics like TTA and lateral sutures. Each week, our vets enjoy a balanced mix of consultations and surgeries, with a minimum of one vet on surgery per day.
Our team are certificate holders in medicine, surgery, orthopedics. We are dedicated to your ongoing development, offering and encouraging full support for those pursuing further certifications.

Working up to 35 hours per week plus Saturday half day 1 in 3, 1 night every 3 weeks and 1 weekend in 18. Salary up to £63,000 DOE.
