Joining the team at Kingfisher Veterinary Practice

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our first opinion small animal practice in the beautiful Somerset countryside. We can offer a competitive salary, CPD allowance, with a 4-day working week, no night duties, and friendly, supportive staff. Some experience is preferred, but a motivated recent graduate would be considered. Accommodation is available if required.

Our location and practice

Our four-branch practice is in rural Somerset with beautiful scenery and the Jurassic coastline within easy reach with transport links via motorway and rail. Other equipment includes video endoscopy, tonometry, digital dental X-rays, and ultrasound scanners. Advanced orthopaedic surgery is available to our clients via a visiting specialist, and we have certificate holders in ophthalmology and surgery within our team of experienced vets.

We are seeking a pro-active and dedicated veterinary surgeon. Experience is preferred, but all candidates will be considered. Applicants must be RCVS registered. We encourage and fund CPD, including study for higher qualifications.
