Overview

Salary up to £70,000 DOE, Welcome Bonus up to £5,000 plus Relocation Allowance up to £5,000. Are you an experienced, confident vet looking for more autonomy in a supportive, well-established practice? We’re looking for a dedicated Sole Charge Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Cockfosters Vet Surgery, part of the Wood Street Veterinary Group. Make Wood Street Vet Group your next move. We are a 5-branch brand with a main hospital in Barnet. We have facilities including digital x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, dental x-ray and more. We offer a range of surgery, including some orthopaedics. Our main hospital is in a fantastic location and 15–20 minutes from all of our branches. We have a large team across the 5 branches, sharing the load of branch work. Easy to commute into London, with good driving and parking options.

The Role
  • Sole charge position – lead on clinical decisions and case management
  • A mix of consultations and surgery, offering a varied and rewarding caseload
  • 4-5 day working week with no OOH, no Sundays, and no bank holidays
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays (working with our experienced support team)
