About the Hospital

This RCVS-accredited hospital provides a wide range of services, from routine first-opinion care to advanced procedures. The site is equipped with:

  • In-house
  • CT scanner
  • Laparoscopic equipment
  • Hydrotherapy suite
  • Dental suites with dental X-ray
  • Endoscopy and advanced ophthalmology equipment
  • Dedicated and separate cat clinic (ISFM Cat-Friendly Gold Status)

Alongside primary care, the hospital also offers referral and OOH services, supported by a 24-hour veterinary and nursing team. The caseload is varied, with opportunities to work across multiple branches, ensuring a mix of routine and more complex cases.

About the Role & Team

The hospital is seeking a confident GP Vet who enjoys the variety of general practice while having access to advanced facilities. The team includes certificate holders in surgery, imaging, and medicine, as well as vets working towards additional postgraduate qualifications in ECC and ophthalmology.

Collaboration is central to their culture, with regular case discussions and team meetings. Clinical freedom is valued, and vets are supported in pursuing their own interests and certificates. Work-life balance is a priority, with a dedicated wellness programme and flexible rota options.
