About us

The Park Vet Group was established over 100 years ago and is now a fully RCVS accredited multi-site, primary care and mid-tier referral practice. With sites in Whetstone, Glenfield, Saffron Lane & Scraptoft Lane, all our practices are self-sufficient and are fully equipped, but we like to share best-practice and work as a big team.

Our Glenfield Tier 3 RCVS accredited Hospital has all this plus; CT machine, video endoscopy, ASIF kit, TPLO/TTA/Tightrope, arthroscopy, Phacoemulsification and advanced ophthalmology equipment, dedicated 24-hour nursing and vet teams, and much more. In your spare time, there is a lot to enjoy locally. The Park Vet Group is based in the wonderful city of Leicester which is the largest city in the East Midlands. We have excellent travel links, access to good schools and beautiful countryside. Leicester is a modern city steeped in years of history and there is lots to do locally whether you enjoy the great outdoors or prefer the hustle and bustle of the city.

As a team, we enjoy socialising events outside of work too, when possible. It is fair to say that we all get on well as a team and enjoy our working days together. We have a real team spirit, and any new associates will be warmly welcomed.

Our variety of experience levels means that we have been able to offer a fantastic new graduate programme that offers great support. We are a nurse training practice and work closely with local universities & training colleges too. We, therefore, have plenty of opportunities for mentoring if this is something you enjoy.

If you are a Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in ophthalmology, considering new opportunities in 2024, please get in touch for an informal chat with us and to find out more. We are always happy for prospective associates to come and visit our practices/hospital site for a tour, and an in-person chat.

We would love to hear from you, please contact Natalie Shoemark if you have any questions about the role or to apply, please complete the application form below.
