Are you a vet with an interest in Emergency & Critical Care? Would you like access to an interesting caseload?

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and caring veterinary surgeon to join our team at our MiNightVet clinic in Hillsborough, Co Down.

Our MiNightVet service complements our day team at Cromlyn House Veterinary Hospital. You will help provide out-of-hours service for a large number of local first opinion practices, as well as see a variety of inpatients from Northern Ireland Veterinary Specialists and Cromlyn House.

We pride ourselves on high standards of care and are looking for someone passionate about working to these values. We are a fully equipped RCVS-approved Veterinary Hospital.

The Team:

You will enjoy working with an energetic, motivated, and experienced team of Vets, Nurses, and support staff providing triage and intensive care at an excellent standard for a variety of interesting cases involving emergency patients and in-patients.

Applicant requirements:

This role suits an experienced and confident veterinary surgeon with excellent communication and organization skills, capable of delivering high-quality care to emergency and critical patients.

Working Hours:

This annualised contract is based on a 1 week on and 2 weeks off pattern:

1. 1:3 week of nights on duty
2. 19:00-08:00, Monday to Monday
3. 1:6 weekend days: 07:30-19:30, Saturday and Sunday
4. Two bank holidays per year: 07:30-19:30

Salary depends on experience.
