Job Description:

Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for a dynamic opportunity in a vibrant community? Synchronised Solution is delighted to present a fantastic career opportunity in the heart of Notting Hill and West Kensington.

About the practice

We are a cohesive team of 3.5 skilled veterinarians working across both branches, taking on the role of sole charge at West Kensington while uniting as a team at Notting Hill. With a strong legacy of delivering exceptional patient/client care to our local community, we are committed to nurturing a welcoming environment that fosters growth, empathy, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you can shape your career path. It’s ideally suited for someone with leadership experience who desires a more hands-on role, collaborating closely with our Branch Partner. Alternatively, if you are a versatile and competent general 1st opinion veterinarian, comfortable with routine surgeries and consults, you will find this role equally appealing.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package of up to £60,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience. As part of our commitment to your professional growth, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days of CPD leave
  • RCVS, BVA, and VDS fees covered
  • 5 weeks of annual leave, in addition to bank holidays
  • A 4-week paid sabbatical after each 5 years of service
  • Vehicle allowance or a Company Vehicle
  • A 4-day workweek with a 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekend rotation

Key Accountabilities

Your daily responsibilities will encompass a range of veterinary duties, including consults, routine surgeries, dentals, x-rays, and more. You will be expected to maintain a high standard of clinical care, ensuring client and patient compliance, and actively contribute to fostering a progressive clinical culture within the team. A strong customer focus and a commitment to delivering consistent exceptional care throughout the client journey are paramount. Additionally, you will be instrumental in supporting the team and helping develop skills where needed.

Skills and Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • RCVS registration with 2-5 years of small animal experience
  • A team player, dedicated to working collaboratively in practice and with wider colleagues
  • A proficient all-rounder, with confidence in handling routine surgeries and consults

The Branch

Our dedicated team consists of 3.5 veterinarians, led by an experienced Branch Partner, and supported by three experienced nurses, including RVN, and dedicated Client Care Assistants. The clinic is well-equipped with cutting-edge technology, including digital and dental x-ray facilities, state-of-the-art ultrasound, and a comprehensive in-house lab.

As part of our collaborative approach through Synchronised Solution, we have access to advanced diagnostics, including CT Imaging, and seamless round-the-clock care via our Kensington 24-Hour Hospital. The input of certificate holders and a broader network of colleagues ensures excellent follow-through on cases that go beyond first opinion level.

The Area

Our practice is ideally situated in the heart of Notting Hill, adjacent to the renowned Portobello Road. We enjoy easy access to the London Underground Central and Hammersmith and City lines, while West Kensington is just minutes away from the District and Piccadilly Lines.

If you are an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for delivering exceptional care and are ready to take your career to the next level, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity with us at Notting Hill and West Kensington through Synchronised Solution.
