A veterinary practice in Leigh is seeking a Night Veterinary Surgeon to provide emergency care and stabilize critically ill pets overnight. The role offers a varied caseload in a supportive environment with relocation support and extensive professional development opportunities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting and possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners.
Job Title: Night Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Manchester, Leigh
Hours: 10 nights per month - 13.5 hour shift working 6.30 pm-8.30 am
Practice: My Pets Vets
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

We\'re a busy first opinion small animal hospital in Leigh, between Manchester and Liverpool. We have a friendly, forward thinking team and we and encourages career progression through various CPD avenues, many of our current staff have or are participating in certificates and further training. We deeply care about providing outstanding patient and client care.
We have good-quality ultrasound machines with modern bronchoscope and gastroscope as well as biochemistry, haematology, blood gas analysis machine and SediVue.

Nurse training centre
Gold cat friendly status
Silver rabbit friendly status
Several certificate holders and RCVS Advanced Practitioners on site
Onsite hydrotherapy and rehabilitation centre with physiotherapist
Class IV laser therapy
Good quality ultrasound machine
Direct radiography
7 consult rooms separate dog/cat/rabbit/ICU and isolation kennels
and most of all a friendly cooperative team working with in a growing practice!
