Veterinary Surgeon – Lincolnshire
Purovets are thrilled to be partnering with a vibrant, independent practice on the lookout for a passionate and caring Veterinary Surgeon to join their exceptional team!
This well-established practice boasts outstanding facilities, including its own orthopaedic referral service, and is home to a team of seven experienced, supportive vets who thrive on collaboration and case discussion. Whether you're a vet with 2–3 years under your belt or someone looking to take the next exciting step in your career, this is a rare opportunity to learn, grow, and flourish in a progressive and welcoming environment where your development is truly valued.
They have many loyal clients and pride themselves on the "personal touch", and they are now looking to add another vet to the team to allow them to maintain their high standards of patient and client care. Their vets are allowed clinical freedom and do not set targets, and they pride themselves on their amazing nurses and support staff. The practice is well equipped with in-house Idexx lab and blood machines, digital X-Ray, ultrasound, dental X-Ray and full dental suite, Robovet computer system and much more.
You will enjoy a mix of consults and surgery, with the freedom to follow up your cases. The typical full-time rota is a mix of early and late shifts, from 8am – 4:30pm and 10:30am – 7pm, as well as a 1 in 6 rota for on-call and weekends with very generous time off in lieu. This enables them to provide this service for their clients while also sharing the out of hours work to improve the work/life balance for the whole vet team. You would have an experienced veterinary surgeon and nurse available to give help and support for the on-call duty.
