Veterinary Surgeon – Leicestershire

  • Salary up to £62,000 (dependent on experience) with relocation support available to help make your move seamless

About the Practice:

Our client is a well-established, first-opinion practice with a supportive team culture and a commitment to the local community. They proudly collaborate with several local charities, including Cats Protection, Prickleback Urchin Hedgehog Rescue, Neville’s Nest Guinea Pig Rescue, and Leicester Animal Rescue — giving you the chance to make a real difference both in and outside the consult room.

Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities — including ultrasound, digital X-ray, an in-house laboratory, and more — the team handles a varied and diverse caseload, offering you the opportunity to develop your skills in a clinically rich environment.

The Role:

Whether you enjoy consults, surgeries, or a balance of both, this role can be tailored to suit your clinical interests. You'll be joining a friendly, knowledgeable team of 9 vets, including certificate holders, who foster a collaborative and mentoring culture.

You'll also have the opportunity to support and mentor new graduates, making this a perfect step for someone looking to grow into a leadership or coaching role.

  • Full-time role with a 4-day working week
  • 1:9 weekend rota (Fri–Sun), including Saturday morning surgery and on-call
