Ready for something different? At Seafield Veterinary Group in Keith, we're offering more than just a job - we're offering a career you can shape. We're looking for a passionate Farm Vet who's ready to get stuck into a varied caseload, build their clinical skills, and become part of a genuinely supportive and experienced team. Whether you're drawn to a true mixed role or want to focus more on large animals, we'll tailor the job to suit your strengths and interests.

With a diverse caseload of around 40% farm, 5% equine, and 55% small animals, there's plenty of opportunity to build your experience across species - or dive deeper into areas like fertility work, herd health planning, and lameness if large animal is your focus. As part of IVC Farm, you will have access to a broad network of farm vets and plenty of opportunities for collaboration and development. Our team culture is built on collaboration, with regular practice-wide, leadership, and departmental meetings to ensure everyone stays informed and engaged in clinical discussions.

Fix or flex - find your perfect balance

We understand that flexibility is key to a healthy work-life balance. Whether you need to adjust your rota to accommodate school holidays, fit around school runs, or simply find the right balance between home and work, we're committed to offering working patterns that truly work for you.

As a three-site practice, we provide small animal services at all locations, with farm and equine care based at our main site in Keith. We collaborate closely with Speyside Vets to share our OOH rota, ensuring both a sustainable work-life balance for our team and excellent client care. The full-time role is up to 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days depending on preference. We welcome part-time applicants and can be fully flexible for the right person. There is a 1 in 10 share of the large animal OOH rota during the summer.

The Elevate programme

As part of the Elevate programme and to reward your commitment, we offer exciting additional benefits, including:

  • Up to £5,000 welcome bonus paid in first salary
  • Up to £8,000 relocation bonus
  • Elevate bonus paid at month 6 (20% of annual salary)
  • Elevate bonus paid at month 12 (10% of annual salary)
  • Concierge support with the relocation process
  • Paid leave for the duration of your move (up to three days)
