Veterinary Surgeon- Lancashire
Overview:
• Salary up to £65,000 DOE
• Modern first opinion practice based in Leigh in Lancashire with facilities including ultrasound, digital x-ray, electrosurgery, dental x-ray and much more
• Generous CPD package, and further qualifications encouraged

• Varied surgical and medical caseload
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon role at a RCVS accredited 3 branch practice in Lancashire in the up-and-coming town of Leigh.. Our client is looking for someone with experience but also has a desire to focus on continued learning.
This first opinion small animal practice is fully equipped with the latest in technology including ultrasound, electrosurgery unit, tonometry, dental x-ray, digital x-ray, ultrasonic dental, theatre, kennels, imaging room and much more. The surgery has a nurse manager/head nurse who looks after the day-to-day affairs enabling the Veterinary Surgeons to concentrate on more clinical matters.
The right candidate should be able to develop good interpersonal relations with both the staff and clients - a diverse range of people. Our candidate is looking for someone who generates enthusiasm by example, whilst being happy and efficient. The right candidate will concentrate on clinical matters whilst recognising that our client is also a business focussed on excellent client/patient care and communication.
The Rota:
• Full time - part time hours considered
• 40 hour week over 4, 4.5 or 5 days
• Weekends on a 7 week rota - 1 Saturday (9am - 3pm) and 1 Sunday (9am - 12pm), or 2 Saturdays (9am - 12pm). Time in lieu given throughout the week
• No OOH
