My client is an independent and growing veterinary group that has been redefining what it means to work in the veterinary sector for over fifteen years. They are now seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their talented and supportive team in Hampshire.

With thirteen practices across the region, this group combines the strength and stability of a larger organisation with the warmth, agility, and personal approach of a family-run business. Independence is not just part of their identity—it’s a value they are deeply committed to preserving. Their Hampshire practice, nestled next to the stunning New Forest National Park, is a well-equipped, modern facility featuring digital radiography, ultrasonography, a fully integrated Idexx laboratory, and dedicated surgical suites.

As they continue to grow, they are looking for a dynamic vet with a minimum of one year’s experience to be part of their collaborative team. You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians, visiting referral surgeons, and an imaging consultant, with additional support from a wider network of 25 vets and over 100 dedicated staff. Teamwork is at the heart of everything they do, and it’s something they genuinely take pride in.

This group is known for setting industry-leading standards when it comes to looking after their staff. They reinvest every penny of their income into their people and their practices. Their team enjoys competitive salaries, up to six weeks of annual leave, and beautifully refurbished clinics thanks to their ten-year refurbishment cycle. As they continue to expand, they remain committed to maintaining the same high standards of care—for both their patients and their team.

They build loyalty through mutual respect and by tailoring roles around the individual, creating positions that suit your lifestyle and career ambitions. There’s no on-call work, and the rota is designed with flexibility in mind to support a healthy work-life balance. This full-time position involves a 40-hour week, typically spread over four days, with only alternate Saturday mornings required. Part-time hours are also available, and there are no Sundays or bank holidays involved.

If this sounds like the kind of place where you’d like to build your career, I would love to hear from you. Please get in touch for a relaxed and informal chat about the opportunity.

The Package:

• A superb salary of £45,000 - £80,000 DOE
• Up to six weeks leave in addition to the above
• Loyalty bonus scheme
• Staff recruitment reward scheme
• CPD encouraged with a generous budget
• RCVS and VDS fees paid
• Staff animals treated at cost
• Staff discount
