Looking to join a close-knit team of vets?

We are supporting a busy 3-vet practice near Hertford as they look to expand their services and add a new MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon to the team.

The Practice:

Based in Hertfordshire, with great connections from Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City, Harlow, Hatfield, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, and surrounding towns. The team includes 3 vets, 4 nurses, and a supportive non-clinical staff. Facilities include 3 consult rooms for client privacy, a large operating theatre, separate cat/dog/isolation wards, and a diagnostics suite.

We offer a wide range of veterinary services, ensuring clients receive excellent care and clear treatment plans. In addition to routine services (consultations, pharmacy, spays), we manage complex orthopaedic cases and have advanced ultrasound equipment for diagnostics.

The Role:

We are flexible regarding working patterns. Full-time is 40 hours per week, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. No OOH duties, but some sole charge is expected, with nurses always available. The role involves a mix of consulting and surgical work, with dedicated admin time. Leadership opportunities are available for those interested in supporting practice growth. Consulting-only roles are also considered for the right candidate.
