Vets Now Liverpool is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon on a 12-month fixed-term basis to provide emergency care after hours and during bank holidays. The role offers up to £75,000 DOE and a robust benefits package, with a 40-hour average week in a 1:3 night/weekend rotation. At Vets Now Liverpool, our committed team of vet surgeons, registered veterinary nurses, animal care assistants and receptionists work hard through the nights, weekends, and bank holidays to ensure sick and injured pets get the very best care when daytime vets are closed. We’re looking for a Vet Surgeon to join our team, on a fixed term full‑time basis, to provide emergency care when it’s needed the most.
This role consists of working an average of 40 hours per week across weekday nights, weekend days and nights on a 1:3 rotation, as well as a share of bank holidays – never working more than three nightshifts in a row. We appreciate that one size doesn’t fit all and are happy to consider part time applicants.
