Job summary

Colne Valley Vets, part of Linnaeus, in Colchester, Essex, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon. This role offers a four-day week (40 hours) with a fixed day off, a varied consulting and surgical caseload, and clinical autonomy supported by experienced colleagues.

Salary of £60,000 per annum DOE plus a £5,000 welcome bonus for direct applicants; five weeks' holiday, RCVS and VDS fees paid, and extensive CPD opportunities are included to support your professional development.

Qualifications

• A Veterinary Surgeon with at least 3 years' experience, including 18 months UK experience.
• Confident in managing a varied first-opinion caseload and taking ownership.
• Interest in both consulting and surgery with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Collaborative approach with ability to work independently and seek second opinions when needed.
• Desire to learn and develop clinically; further qualifications encouraged.
