Job summary

Victoria Veterinary Practice in Glossop and Chapel-en-le-Frith is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, close-knit team. The role offers a competitive salary (£40,000–£60,000 per annum, depending on experience) and a 4-day-week pattern with weekend duties on a rota.

You’ll work across a well-equipped practice, with exciting cases in consulting, surgery and diagnostics, and the freedom to grow your clinical skills within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• We’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is:
• A supportive team player who enjoys working collaboratively
• Confident making clinical decisions and interpreting diagnostic results
• Comfortable managing a varied and occasionally complex caseload
• Able to explain clinical findings and treatment options clearly and compassionately to clients
• Adaptable and practical, with the ability to tailor treatment plans to individual patients
• Interested in developing their clinical skills and contributing to the continued growth of the practice
• Calm and confident when managing challenging situations

Responsibilities
