Overview

An exciting permanent opportunity has opened for a Veterinary Surgeon to join Isle Vets. We're seeking a driven vet with at least two years of experience to join our friendly and supportive team, delivering outstanding care to clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

Balance between consulting and operating on a variety of routine and urgent cases. Provide dental, orthopedic, soft tissue surgeries, thyroidectomies, scanning, endoscopy and in-house testing within a state-of-the-art laboratory. Work with our team to deliver high-quality patient care and participate in case discussions with the wider team.

We are a busy first opinion practice with a purpose-built facility in Ely, Cambridgeshire, equipped with X-ray, ultrasound, endoscope and dental X-ray. There is a visiting orthopedic surgeon and ECC nurse, with opportunities to collaborate on cases and professional development.

Team and Setting

Join a 6-vet general practice with diverse interests, supported by an 8-nurse team. Vets have access to diagnostic imaging resources and ongoing professional development, including involvement with visiting specialists. Our team fosters a collaborative, family-like environment.

Location

Ely is a picturesque city with a blend of rural charm and access to Cambridge and London. It offers excellent transport links and nearby airports, with a balance of history, nature and proximity to larger cities.
