Veterinary Surgeon - Emergency Out of Hours (PT 12 Month FTC)

New Priory Vets are welcoming applications from clinicians with a passion for ECC who are interested in join their team on a part-time, 12 month fixed terms contract (averaging 23 hours per week).

At our RCVS-accredited practice in Brighton, we offer a sustainable approach to ECC night work with split shifts (4:30 pm–12:30 am or 10:30 pm–9:30 am). This structure allows you to pursue your ECC passion without burnout.

New Priory Vets has flourishing referral, out of hours, and first opinion services. Our veterinary team includes on-site specialists, advanced practitioners and certificate holders in cardiorespiratory medicine, imaging, endoscopy, surgery, dentistry and emergency & critical care. Our fantastic team of RVNs also hold a variety of certificates and are supported by dedicated teams of NA’s, SVNs and receptionists, along with genuinely friendly and approachable managers and directors.

Our state-of-the-art equipment includes extensive point-of-care diagnostics, including a recently upgraded CT and a cardiac suite with dedicated ultrasound. We have regular team and M&M meetings to ensure excellent governance is upheld for our committed clients who want the best for their pets.

If you have enthusiasm and a commitment to clinical excellence, we have the expertise to support and train you. Strong communication skills and a dedication to practice evidence-based medicine are essential.
