Veterinary Surgeon - Oxfordshire


• Spacious, purpose-built facility on the edge of the Cotswolds
• Well-equipped practice with a full range of facilities, including radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, blood testing, and surgical facilities, as well as separate dog, cat, and isolation wards.
• Working alongside three skilled Vets, including a PhD holder specialising in gastrointestinal disease, and two Vets currently studying for postgraduate certificates
• Superb salary up to £75,000

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our client's team in West Oxfordshire, as they continue to grow and build on their success. The practice is seeking a dedicated first opinion Vet to provide both medical and surgical care to a varied and loyal client base. Established in 2014, the practice has grown from strength to strength and is set in a spacious, purpose-built facility on the edge of the Cotswolds, with easy access to Oxford.


Our client is passionate about providing the best care for animals, and their commitment to ongoing investment in both equipment and training ensures they offer the highest standards of treatment. The practice is well-equipped with a full range of facilities, including radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, blood testing, and surgical facilities, as well as separate dog, cat, and isolation wards.


As part of an experienced and close-knit team, you will work alongside three skilled Vets, including a PhD holder specialising in gastrointestinal disease, and two Vets currently studying for postgraduate certificates. You will also be supported by a talented nursing and administrative team, who pride themselves on their excellent client care and communication, ensuring a high level of continuity for patients.


This full-time position involves 40 hours per week across four weekdays, with shared Saturday morning shifts from 08:30 to 13:00. There is also the option for more flexible part-time hours if preferred. The weekend rota is currently one in eight Saturday mornings, with no out-of-hours work, other than inpatient care for patients that choose to stay at the practice. This is shared equally between the Vets.
