A leading veterinary practice based in Aylesbury is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team. The role offers a full-time 4-day work week with no out-of-hours duties, a salary up to £75,000 depending on experience, and a supportive environment for both new graduates and experienced vets. With a focus on clinical freedom, the practice emphasizes professional development, including unlimited CPD, along with excellent benefits like 28 days holiday and pension scheme.
My client is a proudly independent small animal practice based in the popular county town of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Founded with a commitment to delivering excellence in all aspects of pet care, the practice combines many years of veterinary experience with a genuine passion for animal health. Their mission is to create an environment that champions clinical excellence while providing first‑rate patient care.
The practice has invested heavily in state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including digital X‑ray, a dedicated dental suite, in‑house laboratory, ultrasound, and a fully equipped operating theatre. This allows the team to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, ensuring pets receive exceptional care. Separate cat and dog wards help minimise stress for patients, and dental X‑ray capabilities will soon enhance their service even further. Orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery are in house.
My client is now seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon—suited to either a new graduate or someone with 3+ years of experience—to join their close‑knit team of 2 Vets, 3 RVNs, and 1 Head RVN. As an independent, family‑run practice, they understand that every pet is a cherished member of the family and pride themselves on offering a warm, supportive environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a truly independent practice in the heart of Buckinghamshire, where your development, wellbeing, and clinical freedom genuinely matter.
