Job Description
Are you looking to join a welcoming, well-established practice in one of London’s most desirable neighbourhoods? Medivet Barnes White Hart Lane is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to become part of our experienced and supportive team, delivering exceptional care to a loyal and growing client base.
Located in the heart of SW London, our practice enjoys a charming high street village presence and is deeply embedded in the local community. The client base is well-informed and engaged, providing an ideal environment to work cases up thoroughly and to a high clinical standard. Our client feedback and online reviews speak for themselves — this is a practice where trust, continuity and quality matter.
Medivet Barnes White Hart Lane is a first-opinion small animal practice, fully equipped to support a wide variety of clinical interests.
Our facilities include:
Two bright and well-appointed consultation rooms
A spacious and welcoming reception area
Modern digital and dental radiography
A separate dental suite
A fully equipped operating theatre
Laboratory equipment including haematology, biochemistry and microscopy
Separate cat and dog wards and a designated prep area
Advanced anaesthetic and monitoring systems
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with a 1:6 weekend commitment at our nearby 24-hour Richmond Hospital. This connection ensures seamless out-of-hours support and access to advanced diagnostics, including CT, and offers collaboration with a wider team of experienced clinicians and certificate holders in soft tissue surgery, small animal internal medicine, and pain management.
Our Barnes White Hart Lane branch is Branch Partner-led, combining the stability and support of the Medivet group with local leadership, a personal and business investment and a strong sense of team culture. You’ll be working alongside experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Receptionists, allowing you to focus on clinical excellence and client care in a well-structured and efficient environment.
Whether you're looking to develop your existing skills or explore a new clinical interest, you'll find the support, facilities, and flexibility to help you thrive in this role.
